MOVIE 43

Movie 43...um...yeah.  This is one of those movies where the trailer misleads you.  I tried.  I REALLY tried to give this movie a chance.  The only thing missing from this train wreck is Will Farrell.  Stupid attempts at sickening topics.  The farther the movie progressed the more I wondered how the actors/actresses even considered adding this movie to their resume.

Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman...This movie sucks!  I don't recommend this movie.  I stopped watching it at the Batman/Robin skit.

Promoted as a comedy, it is anything but.  But what it is, is offensive and stupid.  Not even close to being as funny as the trailer.  Once the scenes in the trailer are straightened out and a story added this movie then becomes TIED with Jackie Chan & Kung Fu Master as the 2 worst films I have ever seen in my life.

NOTLEY CALLS ALBERTANS NAMES

Rachel Notley the Premier of Alberta...has tken to insulting and name calling...the People of Alberta...
2/3 of the province don't like her policies.  And if this is you...according to Notley...you are...ready for it...

In 2000...Alberta's net debt was..."0"  In less than 2 years she has almost hit 50 BILLION in debt.  There is no debt repayment plan.  In a country that emits less then 2% of the worlds emissions...she has shutdown coal in the province. 

Alberta used to be 13th in the world for being a place to invest in for oil...now she has plummeted us to 34 in the world.  The only places worse to do business in are countries that have severe human rights issues.  We are worse to do business with than...IRAN.

People are losing thier homes, businesses are closing and both people and businesses are leaving the provine.

I WAS BORN IN EDMONTON AND SPENT 95% OF MY LIFE HERE.  This is no longer an Alberta I recognize and I am now ashamed of the City of Edmonton and the Province of Alberta.

Please don't come to Alberta.  Don't invest here.  Her policies have shut down most small businesses.  She doesn't like Albertans...as evidenced by her continual insults/name calling of Albertans... who are NOT NDP.  You'll only end up moving back to where you came from or keep moving on to BC.

STAR TREK-BEYOND...MEH

I'll admit, I might be a bit over critical with this post, but I really wasn't that impressed with Star Trek Beyond.  Of the 3 latest films, I would put them in this order of preference...Star Trek 2, Star Trek 3, Star Trek 1.

Its the plot.  Its boring.  They blew up the Enterprise.  YAWN!  Another mystical gadget with powers.  YAWN.   Another disgruntled employee.  YAWN.  Nothing new here.  In my opinion, its a step back from the previous film.  It just falls short of being really good.  There's just something missing I cant put my finger on.  Its like the Fast & Furious series.  Something's missing.  But there are a lot of 'little' things...***Spoiler Alert***like the music chosen to disrupt the Bee Hive mentality and help blow them up is the same song they played when Kirk stole the Corvette as a kid in the 1st movie of this Star Trek Series.

If your only criteria for liking an action movie is things blowing up and mindless violence, then you'll be happily entertained.  If you are expecting more...MEH.

Its still enjoyable and Trekkies will still like it as did I.  Its face paced, but the action is designed to keep your mind off the fact the plot is boring.  Predictable. Already the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo w/digital copy is priced at $12.99 at Best Buy.  Last year's Deadpool DVD ''ONLY'' is still selling at $21.99...

CFL GREY CUP 2016 "NOT" FOOTBALL

The 2016 Calgary Stampeders now have the label "CHOKE" after an 8-9-1 Ottawa team beat them in the final.  But why do I say this years Grey Cup was "NOT" football?

#1...the Ottawa Redblacks finished 8-9-1...personally, I don't care when a team "comes" together...No team below .500 should ever be allowed in any Play Off Format...and my Eastern Canadian Political views have nothing to do with this.  Also,  the East/West Playoff format needs to be abolished in favor of a 1 division league where 8 teams could make the play offs and the teams seasonal record comes more into play.  A one division league with a 1 plays 8 format would ensure 8 teams get to make the play offs out of 9 instead of 6 teams only making the play offs.  Its also better for the league/teams from a financial standpoint.

But more importantly...is the now constant VIDEO REVIEW.

#2  is probably more a #1 than anything.  The game needs to be called at real time.  Get rid of the video review.  Its ruining the game.  I as a Canadian have lost all respect for the Grey Cup and as a means of protest will not watch another Grey Cup or support a Grey Cup until they abolish it.  I went to make a coffee and a snack in the 3rd period.  In 10 minutes of actual time, there were at minimum 4 video reviews and Challenges.  This isn't football.  They spent all that time draining the energy from the game while everyone wonders what is going on. I got fed up. I just wanted to watch a good game.  If it was a good game, I couldn't say.  Video Review sucked the game out of the game and I gave up on the football game in favor of cleaning the house because of it.  Im glad I didnt pay for this privilege.

Teams are calling for a video review just to check for offenses that were not seen at real time.  There needs to be the Human Element.  If you have to slow a camera down to 1 frame to see an infraction...it shouldn't count.  The referees don't have this luxury.

This is no longer football.  We might as well just get rid of the refs and put EVERY play under video review and let robotics take over the game.

Nope...if this is the future of the Grey Cup...Toronto can keep it because this ISNT football.  Football is a sport played by and refereed by men...not computers and camera's.  This is what happens when Politics and politically correct meet sports.  You get Political Football which is not a sport among athletes...only whiners who don't actually play the game.

And on a more personal note...how is it that Toronto as hosted a Grey Cup 3 times in the last 10 years...Edmonton (which sells out Grey Cup Games and Toronto doesn't and has less seats) has hosted it 3 times since the 1980's?  If that's not politics interfering...What is?

THOR REVEALS 1973 Pierre Cardin Javelin In " SUPER 8" Trailer

I put in the movie THOR for the 200th time.  And like I always say...You can watch a movie 20 times...you'll find something new each time.

Well while I was doing other things the  trailers began.  The 2nd Trailer on the standard THOR DVD is for a movie called Super 8.  A bunch of kids trying to make a movie and film something they shouldn't have.  But about 6-8 seconds into the trailer...you see a red 1973 Pierre Cardin Javelin drive by 2 kids riding their bikes.

As a owner of a 72 AMC AMX Javelin, I can tell you there aren't many of these cars out there and even fewer are the people who know about them.

The AMC AMX Javelin was built to compete with the Corvette.  Not the Mustang/Camaro.

 

NDP FALSELY TAKING CREDIT!

The NDP is not responsible for the blow out in oil prices.  But they are responsible for closing 5 coal mines and for refusing to make any kind of push at all for a pipeline.  There is a huge Brain Drain as professionals and tradesman leave the province.  If we ever do recover, we wont have the workforce to do it.  NDP policies and tax hikes have made Alberta a very unattractive and expensive place to do business.   A lot of small businesses have closed their doors and moved to other provinces or have gone bankrupt altogether.

When pressed with their backs to the wall people will do whatever it takes to earn a living.  So when the government refuses to help them they use their creativity to earn a living.

The NDP then says that THEY ''CREATED''  'X amount' of jobs.  The NDP didn't do anything.  People here just did whatever they had to, to pay the bills. 

But the NDP are taking credit for it.

The only thing they can officially take credit for is for doing ''NOTHING'' for the people of Alberta except making them broke, putting them out of work and losing their homes.  But if you are a government worker...you get a raise while people in the REAL world try and figure out where their next meal is coming from.

Food bank usage in Edmonton is up by almost 20%.

FUCKING SOCIALISTS!  Lazy ass, no ambition, live off of others, waste of skin NDP Socialists.

As a Canadian...And I speak ONLY FOR MYSELF...

If I were an American...I would vote for Donald Trump and here's why.

Everyone knows Donald is an egotist.  They also realize he cant do the things he is campaigning on unless he gets full approval from the Senate, the House and most importantly from the people.  He does not have absolute power.  There is a checks and balances system in place in the US. 

I wonder how many women were 14 years ago or more...or less...bragging to their girlfriends they were smoozing it up with Donald.  Now years...YEARS later when it serves their purpose ...he Assaulted Me...and you never brought it up...until now?  Its hard to give those women credibility given the circumstances and timing of their revelations and accusations against Donald.

You know what you get with Donald Trump.  His flaws are front and center.  And he has brought some valid points front and center even if HEAVEN FORBID...Hillary wins the election.

Hilary is to me...sneaky.  I don't trust her.  I expect a Hillarygate somewhere in there.  She's shifty.

Canada Post Super Mail Boxes Being ROBBED?????

Great...let the government get involved and everything goes to shit.
Canada Post is a Crown Corporation.  Which means its run by the government.  So they installed these Super Mailboxes.  People were opposed after some were installed so they stopped them.

Ours was one of the first set up, so they use them. 

SO WHERE IS MY MAIL???

I cant trust these mailboxes.  Already my credit cards are missing.  A month overdue.  It was Paypal that informed me my CC was expired.  So when I called they said it was mailed out over a month ago.  It should have taken 3 days.

I can honestly say...these Super Mail boxes are part of the reason I want to move.  A small part...but an additional reason nonetheless.

THEY SUCK because they can be broken into VERY easily.  They are made of cheap steel.

WHY 16 YR OLDS WILL NEVER GET TO VOTE IN CANADA

There's been ALOT of hubbub over 16 year olds wanting to vote and arguments for both sides as to why and why not.

But here's the truth that everyone seems to be overlooking.

If we as a society can agree that 16 year olds are mature and responsible enough to know whats right and whats wrong  for the country of Canada, then they have a clear understanding of right and wrong.

That said, the Government of Canada would first have to ABOLISH  the YOUNG OFFENDERS ACT.

And that isn't happening anytime soon. 

So have your rally's and tailgate parties.  But until we get rid of the Young Offenders Act, you still cant get into a bar and still wont be able to vote until your at least 18.

X Men Hank...A Mannequin Lover?

In X Men: First Class,  Hank marks the abdomen of a female oriented mannequin with a big X in black tape so that Alex can test out the laser suit that Hank made.

When he does this, after making sure the tape is on secure, Hank then takes his hand and gently cups the mannequins breast.  Hmmm...ok.  Odd thing to do.

WHY TRADES MAKE A BAD CAREER CHOICE

If I had it all to do over again, would I still pick a trade?  No, I wouldn't.

Invariably, we pick our occupation based on availability of a future mostly based on where we live.   We grow up influenced by the environment directly around us and personal circumstances.

Some of us are fortunate enough to have a solid family unit  to enable us to pick beyond what we see.  Others not so much.  As well times have changed.  You cant do today what I did.

I moved out of my parents house at the age of 17.  I  worked 3 jobs trying to put myself through high school.  When I eventually dropped out, I got a trade.   Today's requirements make a high school diploma a requirement for trade work.  It wasn't always so.  Im not stupid, my circumstances meant a white collar job would be extremely difficult.

Trade work involves being on the front line when an economic recession hits.  There's always insurance for health and dental.  Emergency services are always available. 

There is no such thing as job security.  I have been with my employer 10 years.  Among recent lay offs were a 20 year man and a 10 year man.

Physical labor can be intensive.  Its ok when you are young, but the body inevitably gets older and starts to give out because of it.  You wouldn't in all likelihood have developed arthritis or numerous other diseases from exposure to exotic chemicals, or metals or insulation or any of the other hundreds of materials that can cause career ended illnesses, but when it happens, WCB calls it degenerative.  Your likelihood to encounter WCB increases and you find out how little anyone has your back when you get injured.  And don't ever hurt your back.  WCB pays on charts, not pain.  They cant measure pain.  You could be a liar.

No...If I had it all to do over again, I would not pick trade work.  There's no appreciation or respect for its nature or its toll on the body.

WAYNE GRETZKY BACK IN EDMONTON

Wayne Gretzky is back in Edmonton.  He's in management with the Oilers Entertainment Group so he wont be running the team.  A figure head so to speak is my take on things.  Edmonton sports teams are really class organizations in and around the community.  I was really made aware of I when I had Eskimo Season tickets.  Teams can be controversial, but they really are class organizations.

While the Oilers aren't my favorite NHL team, I still wish them success as their success usually brings this city closer together.  People are nicer.  Its a fact.  And even though I don't cheer for the Oilers, I used to until 87' and they were one of the best teams in NHL history.  How could I not like them growing up.

So welcome back Wayne.  We are very glad to have you back...in all honesty, you never left.

I bought this at a charity auction, but because of my bid, they gave me 2 free Autographed Photo's.  Gretzky's and Messier's Autographs cost me $1300.  Total cost was $2200.  Proceeds went to a Children's Hospital.

Now You See Me 2-hmmm SPOILER ALERT

Hmmm....yeah, not sure what to say.  Henley, was replaced because she was pregnant at the time of filming.  The girl who replaced her reminds me of Kat Dennings minus the boobs.  Not a fan of her replacement.  Funny, but she really doesn't do much.  Doves...yeah.  Dylan isn't convincing as someone playing both sides.  I found the movie to be anti climatic and found the movie to be some what of a let down.  Definitively not as good as the original.   But an enjoyable movie.

The trailer shows the funnier aspects of Daniel Radcliff, but I wasn't endeared to him being in the movie.  Potter Bias?  Maybe, not sure.  Anyone could have played him.  He brought nothing to the movie besides his name.

UNFORTUNATELY...

The WORST vacation I took with my parents was to Universal Studios.  I want to be amazed.  I don't want to know whats up the magicians sleeve.  And Universal Studios forever wrecked that for me with movies.  I wish I didn't know.

And the same with this movie.  I saw a couple of tricks that left me completely baffled and amazed...and then they revealed how they did it.  Totally wrecked the amazement factor for me.  And that's why I mostly don't care for the movie much.  The other reason...I really liked Henley.  At least she had sex appeal or rather I found her to be sexy as hell.

The introduction of Woody Harrelsons brother played by Woody himself is probably the biggest movie fail in this movie.  Don't care for the character and I thought he took away from the movie rather than contributing to it.  He takes away from the believable factor of the movie.  Adds a "stupid" factor.  You keep wondering why they put him in the movie except to lower the value of the movie.

If you want to be amazed...skip this movie.  If you can handle having the tricks revealed, then you should enjoy it...you should enjoy it regardless, but it wasn't as funny/good as the original,  when is a sequal ever?  And the trick reveals really was a HUGE let down for me.  They closed the movie.  The ending doesn't belie another sequal.

The whole reason for the 'being' of this movie is because of one small detail they didn't reveal in the original.  Thaddeus Bradley and Dylans father were best friends and business partners.

Too many side streets in this movie that should have been closed that lead away from the movie IMO.  An ok movie...glad I waited for it to come out on video.  Not worth the big screen experience.

BUT...it is entertaining.  Just accept it and don't think on it.  You'll enjoy it more.

Not 'ILLEGAL'' to Discriminate Against the NDP

I found that it is illegal to discriminate under most grounds...EXCEPT...one area I CAN LEGALLY DISCRIMINATE against is Political Affiliations. 

SO...because they are responsible for many of the woes plaguing Alberta,  I will no longer deal  with anyone who IS an NDP supporter or who has ties of any kind to the NDP.

Stuck on the side of the road...stay there...need help...you screwed us...help yourself.  Need a job...you put literally over a hundred thousand people out of work including shutting down 5 towns.  If I had a business,  you would never get hired.  People have committed suicide because of your policies.  You are responsible for the break up of families.  You are the cancer eating this province and because of the destruction you have rained down on Alberta and its people...

TRUDEAU RERUN-SCREW ALBERTA

Some of you are too young to remember.  Most don't know.  But the economic troubles in Alberta is a rerun.

EVERY time the Canadian Liberals are in power, Canada has a 70 Cent dollar.  And why is it its a trudeau at the helm that's dong more to separate the country than unify it?  Why is it the only time Western Canada talks about separating from Canada...A trudeau is ruining (not to be confused with running) the country?  He has made his views about Western Canada known loud and clear.

What have the Trudeau's got against Western Canada, Alberta in particular, when we do so much for Canada's economic stability?  It looks suspiciously like trudeau simply hates us.  We are beneath him.  Put simply...he's a snob.  No that's not a typo...He doesn't deserve his name spelled with a capital letter.  He's beneath me. He's not my prime minister...he's ONLY  a public servant with a large trust fund.  And once he pisses of Quebec (inevitable), the PC's will buy Quebec votes and get elected in 4 years.

The Prime Minister of Canada's job is to run the country, not just Eastern Canada.  To put the interests of Canada ahead of the interest of individual Provinces.  To unite the provinces not take sides.  To promote the country positively and run it with fiscal prudence.

trudeau hasn't done a single one of those things.  In fact, the exact opposite.  Ontario has the opinion we deserve this recession.  We deserve to lose our jobs, our houses.  Hmm...I wonder where they get that pov from.  trudeau and the LIEberals.  Alberta sends over $6 BILLION dollars a year from oil revenue to Ottawa.  Even in a recession, we are expected to pay it.  My cigars, a pack of 5 cost anywhere from $16.00-$21.00 a pack here in Edmonton.  They cost $9.95 a pack in Ontario.

They laugh at us.  They come out West to work when things are good, take our jobs, our money, no thank you.  Just we deserve the hardships we get.  They go back to Ontario, take our money with them, then take another $6 Billion in transfer payments, then publicly insult us and laugh at us.  And all trudeau does is to promote this all the while denying us a pipeline out of the province for our oil so we can be a beneficial player in Canada's, not just Alberta's economic future.

That's not a Prime Minister.  That's a power tripping egotistical deceitful snob with a trust fund and no concept of the realities facing every day Canadians.

But hey, he's got nice hair right?  I hope he enjoys it while it lasts.  His father was bald.   Then we can truly let the laughter begin.

Alberta Separation...Wont Happen

Yes, Alberta is getting raped with transfer payments.  Yes Eastern Canada loves hating us and wishing us ill while laughing all the way to the bank.  Yes elections are over the moment Ontario and Quebec finish voting relegating Western Canadians to non combatants in a war zone and second class citizens inside their own country whose vote holds neither meaning nor importance.  And yes, Western Canada (Alberta in particular) is speculating on separating from Canada. 

And of that list, separation from Canada is the only non reality.  Even for Quebec.

The number one reason...the Indians, natives, Metis, 1st Nations and the rest of the aboriginals have a bigger say than people can remember.  Try building a golf course in Quebec.  They shut down roads, they were armed and there were violent stand offs with the police.  ANY separation deal of any kind would have to include them at the table or there would be hell to pay.  Repercussions be damned.

Alberta is a resource loaded economic power based predominantly on oil.  We would need to establish our own trading partners.  With no pipelines to either BC,  Eastern Canada,  Northern Canada or South to the US,  Alberta would be hard pressed to get their product to market.  This in turn would affect the value of any currency put into play to replace the Canadian Dollar...although it would be nice to no longer deal with a currency people cant take seriously.  We call our dollar the Loonie???  History aside, its insulting.

And what about pre existing deals companies in Alberta have that needed Federal government approval...or funding?  Provincial projects.  Where "half" the money is coming from Ottawa.  Federally funded programs. 

There are 1 million people in Edmonton.  About the same in Calgary.  And maybe a million more in various other communities about the province.  3 million people.  We would need our own police, military and air force.  What we currently have here belongs to Canada, not Alberta.  3 million people.  We wouldn't be able to defend ourselves if the entire city of Toronto up and decided to invade us.

Then there are the banking and medical institutions that would need to be put in place.  A constitution would have to be drawn up.  Think its bad now?

Yes it would be fantastic to draw a line in the sand, give Eastern Canada the one finger salute while playing Billy Joel's "Im Moving Out".  But the simple truth of it is we simply don't have a sufficient enough infrastructure or population to make this a practical reality. 

Its like the Americans saying if Trump gets elected they are moving to Canada.  A lot of huff n puff.  A lot of bitching and whining.  Sure its an alternative, but not a practical one.

Alberta wont separate from Canada.  We cant.  Its not practical.  We have too much to lose.  Unless a population equalization plan is brought into effect, until the population of Alberta is close or equal to that of Ontario...Western Canada will always be the tail the dog wags.

65% of Albertans do NOT approve of the NDP's Carbon Plan.  But she's pushing it through anyway.  Politicians are supposed to be Public Servants serving the people.  She never campaigned on the issue.  It was NOT part of her platform.  She hid her true agenda knowing she would NEVER get elected if the people knew her true intentions.

This is called being a DICTATOR!  Which she is.  Anyone regardless of their experience who opposes her views is ignorant and doesn't know what they are talking about.  Its actually te other way around.

Her party has driven up taxes, closed 5 towns, driven investment out of Alberta and helped separate Alberta from the rest of Canada.  She wont promote Alberta's oil and has gone on record apologizing for Alberta instead of defending Alberta.  She even told unemployed Albertans and people who lost their livelihood to MOVE TO ANOTHER PROVINCE.  WTF?

Ever facet of business has been hit but she refuses to even consider laying off a single public servant.  Let the lowlifes who actually work for a living with no job security take the brunt of the recession is her view.

The bitch has got to go.  I have never HATED someone in my life.   It took 50 years but she did it.

WOMEN ARE NOW MORE SEXIST THAN MEN

Mens Club.  Doesn't exist anymore.  Men have no where to go to escape from women.  They have pushed and shoved their way into every men's only establishment failing to realize its why we go there.  To get some space away from you.

Recently, studies have surfaced showing post secondary gradutes are now 65% women.  That's great.  But the underlying cause of that statistic is very much more sobering.  All or most men's only post secondary institutions have been forced to go coed.  YET NOT 1 SINGLE WOMENS ONLY INSTITUTION HAS GONE COED!  Not a single one.  Every one forced to accept women because they were screaming...SEXISM!!!

Women are Hypocrites.  My wife calls them bitches.  Women also use the threat of sexual assault as a weapon and men are scared.  They want an institution that's male only oriented without the distraction/threat of women.  Just the threat or insinuation of a sexual assault can ruin any chance of a career.  And so men are choosing not to enroll in post secondary institutions or choosing ones with low female enrollment. 

LADIES...we are terrified of you now.  You want a place to go where you feel safe and aren't ogled...Spa Lady.  Fine...we want a place away from you where we feel safe and you aren't a distraction.  You went from being feminists to sexists. Why is a male only learning institution not an option when you have female only learning institutions?  That's pure bullshit.

And where do most couples meet?  At University or college.  The ripple effect has now hit the family unit and more people are single finding it harder to meet people.  Don't laugh.  I didn't do the studies.  This in turn means the government has to allow more immigrants in to help sustain the countries population and continued growth.

Sexual assault is wrong and needs to be reported.  But the cases of wrongful sexual assault are mounting and good men have had their reputations destroyed by vindictive women.  This coupled with women's need to invade every facet of the male life has led to this end result.

MY VOTE DOESNT COUNT

I live in Alberta Canada and when we hold a Federal Election to elect a new Prime Minister,  my vote doesn't count.  Because 75% or there abouts...that's my guess...of the population of Canada live in Ontario and Quebec, if these 2 Provincial views align, then the election is over before I even get to cast my ballot.  The entire countries election decided by 2 provinces.

Stephen Harper was from Western Canada but in order to win the election, he had to sell the farm to pay off Quebec.  As soon as he lost Quebec's support, he was done.

So in a world where 2 provinces dictate who runs the country and me not living in either of them...when an election is over before I get a chance to vote...

Why the hell should I even bother.  My vote doesn't/wont change a thing.  Put simply...

My vote doesn't count.  Im not even a second class citizen in my own country.

In Provincial Politics, the NDP were elected in Alberta.  They have doubled the debt, raised taxes, have driven investment out of Alberta and have refused to promote Alberta instead forcing green energy programs down our throats shutting down towns, put tens of thousands of people out of work and making basic household energy needs beyond the price most Albertans can afford to pay.

AND PEOPLE VOTED FOR THIS?  This was the worst possible outcome for the people and province of Alberta.  That's not my opinion, that comes from financial experts.

So if voting achieved the worst possible outcome of an election, (I have NEVER voted NDP, NEVER will) because the young and stupid refuse to educate themselves (and they are considering lowering the voting age to 16)  then why should I give a crap and vote.  They already wrecked my life.  Let them wreck theirs too.   I'll be retired in 15 years.  They'll be paying for this mistake for the rest of their lives.

And as for the Popcorn Playhouse they call Municipal Politics...money talks.

So...Im have been presented with enough incentive to never vote again.  And I choose to turn my back on the religion of man uniquely disguised as Politics.  It a joke.  Im treating it as such.

Morning Glory a Refreshing Movie

Rachel McAdams (sp?)  does an incredible job of being a completely lovable cute woman trying to turn around an AM morning TV program.  Harrison Ford is always fantastic and does a great job being the grumpy old news anchor and Diane Keaton the longest serving employee battl it out for the number 1 anchor spot.  A refreshing comedy of sorts based on a News program on the cusp of being cut.

A fantastic family movie,  enjoyable in its own right. 

Worst Ever James Bond Opening Theme Song

And the winner of the WORST EVER James Bond 007 opening theme song is...

SPECTRE'S-SAM WEST for his god awful, cat screaming on a fence attempt to put lyrics to an otherwise not bad melody.

I love the song Dream Weaver, but I cant hit those high notes at karaoke.  And that's where his rendition belongs.  A karaoke bar could produce better results with this melody.

To be fair, he doesn't sound that bad when he stays away from the high notes.  As an artist he should know his limits, but instead forces his way through notes he simply cant pull off.   I cant make it past the first 10 seconds of the theme song.  I skip it EVERY time. 

EBAY EMPLOYS UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES

Ebay is ripping of its International customers with its global shipping program.  ONLY the US participates because they exploit other countries custom laws.  Why isn't this program set up in other countries?  We aren't offered this in Canada.  There is no Ebay Global Shipping Program for Canada.  We don't have a center where my parcels get sent to first.

As a Canadian, we are now being charged customs on items that we never paid customs on before.  And do you think for a moment that Canada Customs is willing to share its customs fees with Pitney Bowes and Ebay?  No, so ebay is now charging made up fees to accommodate this.

In short, Ebay is engaging in UNETHICAL BUSIESS PRACTICES.

Ebay is now for me just a online comparision shopping.  I find what Im looking for, get the proper name and then I look for it OFF or OUTSIDE Ebay in Canada.  They have made international shopping on Ebay impractical. 

I have stopped doing it almost all together.  I only buy from private sellers NOT enlisted in the Ebay GSP.

Because for the most part...Ebay is a rip off now.

FORD SERVICING-THE WORST EVER...Never buy a Ford

Ford Servicing in Edmonton.  My recommendation...DONT BUY A FORD!

The vehicles are ok, but there isn't a Ford Dealership in Edmonton that can be trusted.  JUST ONCE...I would love to say...Awesome Job.  You did everything I asked for, did a excellent job.

So far, every time I have used Ford servicing and I have tried 3 different dealerships, the work isn't always done, things are missed and make up appointments are needed.
Freedom Ford are rip off artists, 75th and 75th are outright liars and con artists.  91street Ford, doesn't do all the work, doesn't do anything unless you are 100% specific.  tranny noise...wont touch it.  You didn't say you had issues with it.

Im so done with Ford and their service department. 
they cant be trusted to do a job right.  they cant be trusted to do the job period.  Im wondering what if anything they did can be trusted?  What else did they NOT do.

Ford servicing is the worst automotive experience I have ever had.  Im trading in my Ford and going back to Chevy.

Lies, Cons and Climate Change

Wow.  2016 and we are still burning witches, the world is still flat and the sky is still falling.  For all our advancements in technology, we still are a primitive lot when it comes to things we ant prove and have very little understanding of.

Im not going to get into a long winded debate on green house gases and carbon capture and climate change.  I'll save that for my next rant against the NDP.  But what I 'AM' curious about is this...back in the 70's and 80's there were all these rumors of inventions.  Guys inventing carburetors/motors that would go a 1000 miles on a gallon of gas.  But the motor corporations would buy these guys out and stick their inventions in a closet so as to protect their market monopoly.

Given all the discussion of emissions and climate change wouldn't now be a good time to bring these inventions out?  Or were they all lies and rumors?

And why isn't more emphasis being placed on trying to harness the power of lightning???

DONALD TRUMP: THE 'NEXT' U.S.PRESIDENT

Yes, I can say that with a straight face.  Im serious.  I am fully confident Trump will be the next US President.

As a Canadian, how can I say this?

Ok...first...I wish to state I am in no way comparing countries,  or political institutions.  Im simply going by how people 'in general' are.  We are looking at voting and behaviour patterns OF people.

The US and Canada have similarities in their democratic systems.  Given the stupid, the spiteful, the uneducated and the innocence of younger voters ( innocence of younger voters is a category all of its own.  There are plenty of OLDER stupid, spiteful and uneducated voters too.  Its just the placement of 'that' factor in the sentence.) believing they can actually affect change and how that got the NDP elected in Alberta,  which alone put Alberta in the rear view as a place to live/work and invest.  Forget about the oil woes on this one. 

These same people elected Trudeau, Mr Selfie.  Its easy to win an Election when you only need 2 provinces to get elected.  Ontario and Quebec.  In the last federal election, not a single vote out West counted.  The election was over when Ontario and Quebec finished voting.  But I digress.

Factoring in basic human nature and the mob rules mentality, factor in certain similarities between Canada and the US, Factor in a world in turmoil and pissed off, and factor in the stupidest choices Canadians have made electorally in years as a measuring stick for basic human world mentality and you now have elected Donald Trump as President of the United States of America.

Now lets watch and see.

Women ARE Womens Worst Enemy

Im not bashing women here.  Im simply stating the obvious.

Did you read my last post?  Particularly the part about how people would react to a Bautista VS Angelina Jolie James Bond style fight.  I said they would be furious.  And guess what...promotions for the new X Men movie show Mystique being strangled and now Women's groups are outraged.
Violence against Women!!!  Sinead O Connor has lost her mind over this one.  WTF would a Janet Bond movie be?  The same thing.

LADIES...Hollywood women complain about not enough women in leading roles but don't do anything about new scripts
              ...You want equality in the movie industry but complain about the violence towards women when given the opportunity.  The violence is equal if you ask me.  The men beat up the men just as badly...if not worse. 
             ...You say a woman can play Bond but complain about the violence shown to Mystique.

In action adventure movies there is a lot of fighting.  In which the good guy usually takes as many lumps as he gives out.  Sure in a scripted fight a women wont get hit, but that's unrealistic.  And the facts are men have much more bone density and hence why women are more prone to broken bones.  In the real world a woman cant take the shit kicking a man gives out although there are exceptions.  And the majority of society isn't willing or ready to accept violence between men and women especially if the woman comes out the loser.

Its the same reason why you don't see coed contact sports.  The physical differences between men/woman make this type of scenario unrealistic.

So ladies...just what do you want?

Im all for equal pay and equal opportunities for equal services rendered regardless of gender.  But some things aren't sexist.  Simply more a matter of morality.  And it almost seems like you are complaining about the fact we have them.

Janet Bond? PLEASE...Movie Fail!

OK...This is getting ridiculous.  Ladies...I get that you want equality (when it works in your favor)...but JANET BOND???  Really?  Give me a fucking break!!!

No...don't pull that shit with me and roll your eyes...I am all for equal rights, equal pay...but enough with the "not enough women in leading roles" sympathy trip.  Its old and I have run out of sympathy for you.  And before you bash my head in...READ first my explanation as to why I feel this way.

First off...if there aren't enough roles out there promoting women in leading roles we need to look at the movies being produced, the companies producing them and the people writing them.  It ALL starts there with the script.  Get creative...write a script...lets see you do something about it instead of mere whining.

Next...Janet Bond???  Really???  Guaranteed to fail.

 It was a role first brought out in the 50's.  It was written FOR a man.  And for over 60 YEARS it has been a man.  It wasn't written for a woman.  Plain and simple.  The action scenes wont support a woman in this role.  James Bond takes a shit kicking.  Like Angelina Jolie is gonna take down Bautista in a one on one fist fight.  It isn't realistic.

Conan was remade with Jason Momoa instead of Arnie.  Now this remake was a great movie.  Its only problem was that they called it Conan the Barbarian.  Now that automatically opened the movie up to criticisms of the original starring Arnie.  They didn't have to do that.  The movie was good enough on its own.  But now comes under negative reviews because of a comparison to the original.

Same here.  Make up a new series.  Written with a woman as lead.  A new name.  So it is judged on its own merits not bitterly attacked and judged based on 60 years of men only in the role.  It isn't fair and it will fail and everyone will be going what's wrong with the world?

When you think of 007...you think of a man...James Bond.  Not Janet Bond.  It will always be that way.  If it was to be a woman, a woman should have been introduced into that role right away, not after 60 years and fighting age old stereotypes.

Im sorry...Janet Bond will fail miserably.  If a woman is to have a chance at breaking stereotypes in movie roles, she doesn't need to be fighting 60+ years of role bias and gender conditioning.  Write a whole new script...a whole new series.  Let it sink or swim on its own merits without the hinderance of the past to drag it down.  Bring out something original.

Or is that the REAL problem...Hollywood has no originality left?

So Carl Lucas has a heat seeking missile chasing his ass.  Im about to get blown to bits, Im gonna try everything.  So why didn't he?  Why not drop The Tombstone before he was impacted???

Not sure how they let it happen.  Im bummed right out.  This was Washington's year to win the Cup.  Guess not or they wouldn't be eliminated.  Ovie will have to learn to live with being the most prolific hockey player to have NEVER won the Cup.

I have quite the set of Braden Holtby Rookie cards.  :-)  But would rather see them in the Cup.  Which just doesn't seem like it will happen in my lifetime.  They made it to the final in 98 and were swept by Detroit in 4.  Oddly they had half the team than they do now.  The finished 20 pts ahead of everyone else...but couldn't suck it up when it mattered most.

And now most of the team is ready for retirement and its time for a rebuild.  Luckily, hope is cheap.

AWESOME!!!  I sent out a few offers of $225 for Braden Holtby's autographed Rookie card.  It was going for $250, a few slightly higher.  DEALERS!!!  Of the 3 I put offers on, none accepted.  Leading one to wonder...If I offered $225 on a $250 auction, and you turn it down...you are a tightwad. 

Well I put in a bid on a running auction for one.  199 made.  This one is #51...the others were higher.

I won the auction for $202.00

Now I have an autographed Grant Fuhr in a 4 pack, but Ken Dryden was always my favorite.  My all time #1.  Until now.  Ken Dryden doesn't do autographs. There is a gentleman.  A true Team Canada Summit Series 72 fan who has travelled the world to get the team members of that team to get their autographs on his jersey.  He has everyone except...Ken Dryden.  Ken refuses several times quoted s saying, as soon as I do, that jersey's on Ebay.  I still think Ken is awesome, but saying that was a little harsh IMO.

Also...Ken wasn't a Washington Capital like Holtby, who tied Ken Drydens Playoff rookie record knocking out the top two teams.

Im not a complete hokey nut.  But I do like my hockey and my select few souvenir items.  :-)

Canada Post Super Boxes Means Later LOUSIER Delivery

With the new Super Mail Boxes that have been set up, Canada Post Delivery Service has gone to the dogs.  It SUCKS.

We used to get our mail delivered to our home during 9-5, now it comes closer to 7 pm at night.  WTF???

Simply put, Canada Postal Service is getting lousier and Lousier and I wish we had a competitive service to choose from.

Minority Report

The Minority Report has a major plot design fail.

John Anderton/Tom Cruise wanted to keep his old eyes after he had new ones installed.  He used these later for an eye scan.

That's the plot fail.

In order for him to pull off using the old eyes for the scan, it would have to be within 2 minutes of removal.  Without continuous blood flow to the eye, the scan would fail.  By the time he plans to use them they would not be of any use for an eye scan.

HUNGER GAMES...A DISASTER ENDING

Not sure what to think about the Hunger Games besides I WANT TO PUKE.

What started out as a fantastic first couple of movies was destroyed by 2 more hell bent on simply making money.  The final 2 movies should have been only one.  The entire film series was filled with unessential plot lines that did nothing to carry or further the movie.  What was the purpose of having Gale love Katniss?  All that does is add a sympathetic negative vibe to the series.  It did nothing for the movie otherwise.

HUNGER GAMES...another victim of Hollywood and the almighty dollar.  Another reason why NOT to see a movie in the theatre.  Its mostly crap not worthy of a large screen.

We'll Wait Untill You Are Dead...

Why is it...we have to die before people open up and say good things about us when the greatest compliment is telling that person face to face?  Seize the moment, kiss your significant other every time you leave them.  Never keep them guessing about your love.

MOTORCYCLE LUNKHEADS

There's a word you havent heard in a while.  LUNKHEADS. 

Spring is here and the lunkheads come out in force.  Forced into their garages for the winter, as soon as humanly possible, they converge on the streets at the first sign of Spring. 

With the arrival of Summer, these same lunkheads lose more and more IQ points.  Some remove themselves from the gene pool.  And by the time Autumn ends at least 10 have passed on.

Lunkheads are known by another name.  Organ Donors.  They are usually young males aged 16-25 riding Sport Tour or Crotch Rocket bikes.  Bikes that position the rider in a head down leaning ver the gas tank position.  the very design of the bike goes right to the core of the male ego.  You cant help but want to ride recklessly.  There are the few exceptions but lunkheads distinguish themselves by wearing sandals, shorts and t shirts instead of proper riding gear.

I ride a 1900cc cruiser.  I been riding for 35 years.  In that time I totalled 3 streetbikes, 1 of which I went 155 feet without, broke both my ankles, my wrist, 2 steel pins in my elbow, 2 more in my ankle, broken collar bone, skin grafting and was on 14% oxygen bruising my heart/lungs and kidneys.  That was wearing full protective gear.  Full face helmet, leather coat/pants and proper gloves.  That was doing the speed limit.  I had 3 people make left hand turns in front of me.

Street cleaning to remove the sand thrown down over winter doesn't begin until late April, usually May long weekend.  Riding on the streets is like riding on marbles.  its dangerous.  But don't tell a lunkhead that.  that's just a challenge incentive.

Usually there are around 20-30 bike related accidents a year here.  #1 was yesterday. 

I love my bike.  1900 cc's of shiny chrome fun.  Its 10 years old but you would never know it.  She is going into the shop for new passing lights, saddlebags. passenger boards.  Its a cruiser, so I sit more back.  Relaxed.  Yes it has a racing motor in it...but who can see just how good the bike looks if Im riding it 200 km/h?  I want people to see the bike.  I love it when I turn a corner and a cop looks at me on the bike and smiles.

yep its Spring...and the lunkheads are out.  Its hard to have sympathy for those who think...it wont happen to me or refuse to wear the proper equipment.  lets hope there are fewer family lives disrupted this year.

No Jobs for Summer Students

Say it isn't so.   Like no one saw this coming.  Students are saying they cant find summer employment.  I have to laugh.  First off permanent full time jobs have disappeared and been replaced by part time employment.  Educated professionals are now taking the jobs summer students used to go after.  Minimum wage was raised.  Todays younger generation has a sense of entitlement.  they don't have what it takes to do what needs to be done.  They have never had it rough.  Never had to do without.  Never had to apply themselves.  I worked 3 jobs while trying to put myself through high school.

As a young man in the 80's, I was able to establish a career in the oil industry.  yes that's right in the 80's.  I went through the yellow pages and called every machine shop in the city.  If they weren't hiring did they know who was.  I worked for every low paying slave driving sweat shop in the city.  I took the yelling and swearing and insults of egomaniacs and endured.  I carved out a career in a time when people were losing their homes in an industry in complete collapse.

A lot of establishments are charging higher door charges for people under 25 because they are too much trouble.  Employers are hiring educated adults over students for the same reason.  Hats off to the younger people today that do apply yourselves.  You aint all bad and I recognize that.  The rest of you have put yourselves into a situation of your own design and now the economy is forcing you to deal with it.

A Surprise What?

Im making lemonade.  That deliciously sweet ending to sour tasting fruit.  Making the most of a difficult situation I guess you could say.  How does the song go...You cant always get what you want but, You get what you need.  So rather than stamp my feet, we'll make the most out of it.  I'll know more by the end of the week.  I'll surprise you. This is as far as I go...for now.  :-)

Why I am a Pessimist

3D Modeling.  Doing more than anything before it to ensure I stay a pessimist.  I have had 15 people contact me about being a 3D modeling tutor for a paid position of between $30-$50/hr.  1 hour per week for as long as it takes.

4 never returned emails.  3 were responsible enough to warrant meeting them.  All 3 were no shows.  Stood me up.  No phone call.  No email.  Which is quite funny because I want to 3D model for the very same reason.

I have projects I would love to get to.  But my skills arent enough.  When you wait years for something on someone else's schedule and still don't have what you set out to get, you start taking matters into your own hands.  And that's where I am at.  And its not like its just one person Im dealing with.  I am dealing with several different people who at this point I believe are just stringing me along.  I am at the mercy of other people's lives.  And regardless if I pay them or not, I get relegated to second cause.  There is not a single person I can trust except my wife.  Maybe my mother.  If you asked me to put $1,000,000 down on the 1 person I could count on to be there when I needed them to be and be a person of their word...I would put that money down on me.

So I ordered the books.  I guess Im teaching myself how to 3D model because once again the human race has proven that the only person I can rely on...

Exchange Rates

Exchange rates.  My dollar VS yours.  You found what you want to buy, most likely at this point in history, its online.  What if its in another country?  Now you are dealing with a different currency.  Whats' an exchange rate?   Its the rate used to equal one dollar in one currency against the value of another.  If the exchange rate says your countries dollar isn't worth as much as theirs, you pay more.  If the reverse is true you pay less.

Most people don't think about exchange rates in their daily lives.  As a collector its more front and center.  When an item costs $100 in another country and you have to pay another $20 or $30 to balance the currency, it gets expensive.  Exchange rates are on the Stock Exchange and change daily. 

So there is some real courtesy to paying a person on time.  Paying them late could cost them money.   You can afford to sell the same items cheaper but if your dollar goes up in value against the currency you wish to sell in then you have to raise your prices accordingly.  Is not unrealistic for a dollar to change a couple of Cents over a 2 day period in a volatile market.  That 2 Cent fluctuation equals a $20 difference over $1000.  A 4 cent fluctuation would be $40 over a $1000.  When dealing in higher priced harder to find items this is a noticeable reality.

I wont call her Premier.  I didn't vote for her.  She isn't my Premier and I will never recognize her as such.  I don't like her politics but that's not why I HATE Rachel Notley.  If I spelled her first name wrong who cares.  It shows the level of respect I do not have for this...er...woman?  Penis envy feminist is a more apt description of her.

No, why I hate Notley is because in all her interviews, photo ops etc...she comes off as a snob. Her shit don't stink.  The taxpayer is there to service her.  We are all beneath her and she knows better than we do.  She holds us in contempt more than anything.  Who are we to question her...and her majority government.  She is better than us.  Watch/listen to her interviews.  You can hear her voice slowly get higher and higher the more she is questioned about things she doesn't like or make her look bad.  You know like what she used to do to the PC's.

That may well be a flawed description of her.  But that is the image I see her portraying to the public.  She scorns us.  Am I seeing things differently than others, I don't know.  But Im not the only person who thinks this description of her is correct.

ABIGAIL NEWTON aka newt_abig is an Ebay Ass

I would watch out if you deal with an ebayer that goes by the id of newt_abig  This person is a complete PITA.  I gave them 5% off shipping.  I paid an additional $10 of the shipping.  They got a Takara Tomy Masterpiece Black Optimus Prime WITH trailer for $255 US including shipping.  The Black OP sells for $250 US and the trailer for another $100. 

They admit they viewed the auction on his Iphone.  This shrinks the picture.  Only an idiot doesn't realize this.  And its an idiot I am speaking of.  There was a ding on one of the corners and they didn't like it.  But it was CLEARLY VISIBLE in the auction photos.  I offered a full refund but I wouldn't cover the return shipping.  So he left me negative feedback on EBAY.

Any business you deal with, RETURN SHIPPING IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY.  I offered to refund his initial shipping costs but he had to pay for the return shipping.

And the bullshit from the NDP continues.  Notley has appointed a member who is ready to drop.  She's pregnant and due any time.  So Notley gives her a patronage appointment.  She gets paid to do a job she cant do and will require 2 other people being paid at the same time to do her job for her.

My Facebook woes never cease.  Online Im Gold Dober.  The banner pic was done by Dave Waugh for me. But unless I have ID saying Gold Dober is my official name, I have to change it.  Its nt like I hide who I am.  everyone on FB knows who I am.  I use Gold Dober for a multitude of reasons.

We'll see if we can fins some common ground.  Like it or not its a good way to stay informed and communicate with people.

MUFFIT Getting New Clothes

MUFFIT?!?!?!?  WTF is a Muffit?

MUFFIT is the name given to my 1900cc Yamaha Roadliner.  It was a nick name that we used for Dusty.  Our late 200 lb Great Pyreneese.

In 5 weeks she goes in for some passing lights, passenger boards, a 12 volt accessory outlet and a beefed up passenger seat. 

JASPER is gonna be so much more fun to travel to.   I hope El Nino brings an early Spring.

CANADA SHOULD EXIT THE NHL

It is time for Canada to consider leaving the NHL.  For one reason which encompasses a lot of other reasons...they cant compete.

Location, location, location.

Reasons...
1) Canada is colder than the US...if you are going to be on a team with no shot at winning a cup, why play in Cold Canada when you could be in LA/Tampa, Florida?

2) Fans.  The fans in Canada are so rabid that NHL players cant wipe their ass without someone recognizing them.  They have no privacy and are thus front and center in Canadian Cities with an NHL team.  Edmonton has a minimum of 2 hours a day of radio time devoted to the Oilers.  Its sad. 

3) Players don't want to play in Canada.  They only play here to get a job to stay in the NHL where upon teams have to pay them more to come here where they don't perform because they would rather be someplace else.  Their heart isn't in it.

4) And finally, more and more its happening that Canadian teams cant compete with the US any more.  Sure we get individual players who are fantastic, but we cant field a team.  Fewer and fewer Canadian teams have been making the play offs.  And now for the first time since the 70's Canada will not be able to field a play off contending team.  All 16 teams will be from the US.

As of Feb 21/16 Canadian Teams occupy 7 of the bottom 9 spots with Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Edmonton in the last 4 spots in the Western League.  Ottawa and Montreal have Columbus and Buffalo between them and last place Toronto.

Canada is no longer able to field competitive teams in the NHL.  They are now all farm teams. The only guys who will play on them are guys who cant get a job anywhere else, or young draft picks looking to make a name for themselves so they can get traded out of here. 

Canada...the little engine that couldn't.  Its becoming more and more that Canada can only field National teams.  Hockey will soon become Canada's Ghost Sport.  Relegated to the same status as Lacrosse.

I don't do "FAN" jersey's.  I only buy authentic full pro jersey's.  I have 3.  Calgary Iginla. Ron Francis Team Canada and Peter Bondra Washington.  None of which are up to date.  Iginla plays for Colorado now and both Ron Francis and Bondra are retired. 

I have been sitting on the fence about getting a new Washington  Capitals jersey, but was hesitant on who.  Plus the Canuck Buck is sinking faster than the Titanic.  So I finally broke down and ordered it...Almost $400 US for a # 70 Braden Holtby Away Full Pro Authentic Retro 3rd Jersey.

Outback Hat Is Perfect

It has arrived.  My Australian Outback Style hat.  Sweet!

I went to the store the other day and the clerk had too look twice.  I asked him what gives in a humorous way to which he replied...I didn't recognize you without your baseball cap.  In all the years I have seen you, this is the first time I have ever seen you without it.

And I got to thinking...I wear a baseball cap for work.  (It helps keep flying hot metal chips from landing on my head.  I always know when one does...I can smell the hair burning.)  I don't have a nice hat o wear out...besides a new baseball cap.  lol.  And while I like caps/hats,  you cant just put on a beanie, or a Fedora. 

Guardians of the Galaxy got me going to finally buying something I always wanted and never got around to buying.  You know...I really like this concept of on line shopping.  It provides access to items I would never have otherwise.  I bought a Van Helsing Style Goth Duster Overcoat.  I love it.  But it was incomplete.  Now the hat has arrived.  My black leather Australian Outback.

John Carter of Mars Plot Hole

John Carter of Mars.  Quite an entertaining movie.  Of course critics panned it.  But for a good sci-fi flick it isn't too bad of a way to kill an hour and a half.  Except...

Not to take away from the film...Lynn Collins is as hot as ever (She would have made an AWESOME Wonder Woman) and the effects are well done.  Its a fantastic concept.  Except...

**SPOILER ALERT***

Except for this one big gaping hole in the plot that keeps driving me nuts.  Close to the end of the movie, John Carter challenges Tal for leadership. Tal says he cannot because he is not Thark.  Where upon Tars shouts out...yes...yes he is...He is Dotar Sojat...The name Tars gave him meaning My Two Right Arms when they first arrived back from gathering the hatchlings.  So John Carter "IS" Thark by Barsoom definition.  That said...Sola never should have had to run for her  life for allowing him into the temple.  She said, only Thark are allowed.  He is Dotar Sojat.   He is Thark.  It was by this reasoning he was allowed to challenge Tal.  So if he was Thark enough to challenge for leadership and become Jeddack, he should have been allowed into the temple.

Recently I read...I believe it was on Balok's Blog...I need to get a link hot list going...that John Carter of Mars is now free domain.  I wonder if I have enough imagination to re write that part???

NOTLEY NDP ADOPT STOMPIN TOM CONNOR

I REALLY REALLY need to get a mouse for this laptop so I can cut paste properly.

Recently while relenting a childhood story,  I mentioned good ole Stompin Tom...which got me to thinking about the song I remember him singing as a kid.  Marketplace.   Its a 45 second Intro song to a financial report show.  Yes I used to watch it as a kid...when you have only one channel you don't have much choice. 

After listening to this song I can only think that the NDP of Alberta have totally adopted this song.
